There are two types of difficulties of man – external and second internal. The sight of an ordinary person goes towards external difficulties, but rarely a human’s vision has the ability to see internal difficulties. But in reality, the true difficulties of man are internal, external difficulties are just imposition of internal difficulties. Any kind of situation can benefit or harm a human being. A favourable situation can work evil and unfavourable good. The situation which frightens a man, he really harms him. If the situation becomes difficult and the man is not frightened by it, then he does not harm the human being and he only benefits from it. Man’s mind is strengthened by internal thinking. A person who has a complete determination of his duty, who is ready to lose everything to fulfil it, does not fear any situation. There is immense power in the mind of man. The power that he feels the need for, he gets the power from within himself. The person who keeps putting himself in heavy trouble in terms of duty, he also starts feeling immense power within himself. He also gets extraordinary power to overcome his crises. As he realizes this type of inner strength, his efficiency also increases.
Whenever a person finds himself in difficulties, he does not mind his duty. He is surrounded by external difficulties when he does not take care of duty. Thoughts of duty of a person in difficulty remain entangled. If a person’s internal difficulties are solved, then his external difficulties will also be solved easily. External and internal difficulties are relative to each other. A man has knowledge of himself by fighting external difficulties and as he has more and more knowledge, he is also able to overcome external difficulties.
A person who feels fear from every difficulty has a state of mental conflict. Due to this conflict, the mental power of man is not integrated, due to the partition between them – the mind becomes weak due to a fight in vain. In such a state, when an external difficulty comes in front of him, he is unable to gather his mental strength and gets frightened by it. Just as a nation embroiled in internal conflict is weak and invokes external objections, similarly, people with the mental impulse to face external difficulties fiercely, then their inner mind will get peace. The evil mind is Satan’s workshop. In an attempt to solve external difficulties, many difficulties are solved on their own.
Normally, the work that comes in the hands of a human being and which not only has its own benefit but also benefits the other, do not leave it. Suffer the sacrifice and hardship that is required to complete the work. If he makes his practice like this, he will see that he gradually has solid spiritual knowledge. The knowledge that a man does not get from philosophical thought comes from fighting with his circumstances. The mental unity and peace that does not come from fighting the same difficulties automatically. Continuing to fight hardships is necessary not only to make your life successful but also to encourage other people. Just as human faults are contagious, similarly virtues are also contagious. Seeing a coward fleeing from the battle, the other soldiers also run away from the battle and seeing one fighting fiercely in the battle, the other person also does not give up. The sense of valour within them also awakens. All humans have a feeling of all kinds of bad qualities and virtues. The same type of mental qualities is manifested in the environment in which a man lives. The character of the brave man is education for other people. This is his biggest gift to society.
